From the Founder’s Desk

With a humble beginning-a tiny school of seven students that was founded by D.R. Varadarajan – A lone teacher dreaming a Vidyapeeth in 1963. Today, under his able leadership NES and SVB have bloomed into a bouquet of 69 excellent institutions, providing quality education to more than 50,000 students with a teaching faculty of 2000. NES & SVB runs various institutions at different places in Mumbai and thane i.e Bhandup, Mulund, Dharavi, Dombivali and Dawdi ( Thane ) from pre primary to doctorate levels.

These institutions offer education in Arts, Science, commerce, Management, Teachers training, foreign languages, Pharmacy, Information technology, Music and Dance. Institutions for providing education to children with special needs like hearing impaired and also a budding secondary school in Dharavi slums recognised as a wonder school by foreign visitors. NES and SVB have also a medical centre, An R&D centre in education, Science and Technology, An International school-which is a complete IB world school and also National Public (ICSE) school. The education group has set aside a vast space to establish a self financed university with MBA, MCA, Engineering, Hotel Management.
